Aleen Zakka

My story begins as early as 2005. As a young Lebanese woman discovering the new website that was Facebook, I was in awe of the significant potential such a platform could provide to its users. I started dreaming of working in the domain, teaching people about digital marketing and becoming successful in it. I was able to reinforce my passion and test my abilities as an entrepreneur by building Net2work Branding from scratch in 2016.

SOCIAL-PRESENCE-

LinkedIn has transformed from a site for professional networking into a powerful channel for generating high-quality leads, building thought leadership, and driving traffic.

If you are looking to get more value out of your LinkedIn profile, you are going to need to focus on the areas where you’ve under-performed and improve in those areas to get the most out of your professional network. Below is a list of the top 10 things I’d recommend you work on to create a LinkedIn profile that will help you to grow your digital presence business and increase your influence.

You may have seen some of the many different ways that people are using LinkedIn to get business. I have prepared a workshop booklet in Arabic language where I guide you and show you how to do the same thing for you and how to use it effectively to expand your market and get more leads..

LinkedIn is a great place to build your brand, connect with others in your industry, and attract new clients. You can also use the site to engage in relevant conversations with professionals in your space and build your personal brand.

LinkedIn is a fantastic platform for branding and establishing long-lasting relationships with your prospects. It’s also a great place to craft your brand and nurture qualified leads through engagement. When I first started using LinkedIn, I only posted information about myself. Now, I make sure to include information about my work, as well as some fun facts about me.

When it comes to getting your products to the public, LinkedIn is the single most effective channel. It generates leads that are 227% more effective than Facebook or Twitter. That’s why it is a necessity for your business when it comes to marketing. LinkedIn is a valuable tool to have in your marketing strategy, but including it in your strategy does not mean you should stop marketing other places like Facebook and Twitter. Those platforms generate leads (depending on your targeted audience) so including them is essential.

Let me start by giving you some tips about how to create your LinkedIn Company Page (or LinkedIn Business page). There are 6 criteria to take into consideration and fulfill.

  1. Your personal LinkedIn profile:
  • Must be at least 7 days old.
  • Must have your real first and last names.
  • Must be ranked either “intermediate” or “All Star”.
  1. Make sure you list yourself as employee of the company on your LinkedIn profile.
  2. The company that you’re creating a page for, must have a website, email address that include the domain name of the website. ex: connect@aleenzakka.com

Still worrying from where to start? Easy Page set up:

Go to dashboard > Click on the WORK icon on the top right corner. > Scroll right to the bottom of the pop-up window > click on the CREATE A COMPANY PAGE button > Choose the the type of page you want to create (small business, large business, educational institution and showcase page).

Companies with less than 200 employees are considered SMALL business on LinkedIn. Companies with more than 200 employees are considered MEDIUM to LARGE.

You can only create a showcase page on LinkedIn if you already have a business page created.

Don’t forget to create your cover photo (1584×396 pixels), add your company summary, and location. If you are selling your services in more than 1 country, mention the list of countries where you are available.

Keep updating your page with new posts or even existing blogs and stories on LinkedIn. Followers love to read stories and get inspired.

It’s essential to have a consistent and updated presence of your brand with its own LinkedIn page. Make sure the images, colors, and content align with your organization’s website and other social media platforms.

Make sure that your LinkedIn page is up-to-date. Having a LinkedIn profile that’s outdated is worse than not having one at all. Always keep yourself up-to-date with the latest information on LinkedIn.

If you want to boost your business in 2022, follow these LinkedIn marketing tips. They’ll help you get more visibility, connections, and leads.

  1. Use highly targeted customers and connections to find new business opportunities.

LinkedIn is one of the most useful platforms for digital marketing, providing the best customer targeting options in the field of digital marketing. Make sure to be as specific as possible when deciding your target audience regarding industry, company, or people you think may want to buy your products or services.

It’s great that you can get Sales Navigator on LinkedIn. This tool will help you to get your monthly inmails to your target audience more quickly and effectively. You can also use this tool for any different practical approach. send monthly emails to your potential prospects regarding the problems you can solve for them and the results you have got for other prospects. You can take any different practical approach on your own. The basic idea is to stay in touch with your target audience always.

  1. Improve Your Email Marketing Campaign

Write letters (templates) to all your LinkedIn connections thanking them for connecting and inviting them to join your email marketing list. Not sure about what to say and how to start connecting? check some good templates here (English language):

LinkedIn has a unique feature called InMail, which allows you to send a message to 50 people at once. In your message, provide a direct link where your contacts can sign up for your email. You must provide something in return. Mention what they will get by signing up for your email list.

  1. Put quality content out there that is actionable and shareable

High-quality content is one of the best ways to succeed in LinkedIn Marketing. To make high-quality content, make sure that your post solves a problem for a specific group or how to be better at your job. Also, be a thought leader in your niche, and provide your audience with valuable content that helps them solve problems and build their careers or improve their business.

If your posts begin to gain some attention and momentum, LinkedIn will highlight them in one of its categories. This helps your posts to go viral on LinkedIn, and get hundreds of thousands of readers.

This is a good way to be more visible on LinkedIn while reaching your readers in a broad way that would have been very difficult to do on your own blog or website.

  1. Be a People Person and let your employees join your mission

Make sure all employees have a LinkedIn profile. Once created and optimized, add appropriate photos, and mention what their role is in your organization, as well as how they help you. If you want to improve your employees’ LinkedIn profiles, you can dedicate a day in the week to help them set up their accounts. Don’t forget to tell them that they should ALL have professional photos on their profiles.

  1. Learn to Leverage and Join LinkedIn Groups

If you’re selling products or services online, LinkedIn groups are a great way to get more exposure for your business. Join groups that are relevant to your target prospects, and see if there’s any opportunity to talk about your business.

This is the place where you can interact with other members. As such, you’ll be able to share your experience, tips and tricks, and you may even get some advice and solutions for your business. In addition, you can make direct contact with members of a group and invite them to join your network.

You’ll notice that your presence grew quickly and you’ve made relationships with potential clients for free.

You can also think to create your OWN LinkedIn group!

To start, create your own LinkedIn group. Then, you can join as many groups as you want where your prospects are.  Go through the members in all the groups you have joined, find prospects based on a specific job title, and invite all these prospects to join your group. Once they join, ask them about their current challenges. Then, invite all the filtered members to join your group as per their challenges and your group goal.

Topic of the week:

Choose one topic every week is a great way for you to establish your brand and generate leads for your business. You can share valuable content with your group and invite them to your webinar, or you can tell them what products or services you provide. This is a great way to establish your brand and get more customers for your business.

  1. Create your own customized LinkedIn URL page:

You can claim a custom URL for your brand’s LinkedIn page to make it easier for people to find your business and you. It’s especially important to include your brand name when you have a large amount of prospect contact.

Also, it’s important for your brand to have a custom URL that helps people find you or your business on Google and other search engines. A LinkedIn Page Rank of 1 in Google is better than not having one at all!

  1. Connect and build relationships on LinkedIn

It doesn’t matter if you are a brand or not, you should make an effort to connect with your prospects, referral partners, strategic partners, and other brands and business owners. This effort will go a long way in helping you establish your brand.

  1. Make data analysis a habit.

Marketing in LinkedIn without collecting data and analyzing them will most likely result in failure. If you post a lot of content without collecting data from your followers, they will start ignoring you.

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a small business owner, or someone who is looking to start your own business, I highly recommend using LinkedIn for marketing. LinkedIn can help you create a brand for yourself, generate leads for your business, and gain valuable insights into what is working and what isn’t in your online marketing efforts.

In LinkedIn Workshop Booklet, I teach you how to specify your metrics and and KPIs. Use this tool: https://aleenzakka.com/blog/social-media-offers/increase-revenue-using-linkedin-guidelines-master-social-selling-arabic/

  1. LinkedIn offers a range of organic and paid marketing tools.

LinkedIn offers a suite of organic and paid marketing tools that allow you to market yourself and your products to businesses and professionals in your industry.

To be effective, your marketing efforts should be paired with the right tools. These tools help you build a compelling organic presence, amplify your post reach, and measure and optimize your marketing efforts.

Don’t forget to keep optimizing your LinkedIn Page, so that anyone who visits your page sees you as an established brand.

You might think that posting sponsored content on LinkedIn is similar to other social media platforms. However, the critical difference is the ability to narrow down the demography or the target audience to minor details like job title, skills, company size, and groups.

LinkedIn is one of the best platforms for professional networking and marketing. If you’ve got a business, you should definitely be making use of this powerful tool.

A Special Plan For Linkedin

In this video, we will show you how to increase your brand awareness on LinkedIn by building an online presence and sharing content with your target audience. (Arabic language).

SOCIAL-PRESENCE-

One of the common traits that successful entrepreneurs connected with global brands or professionals have is the ability to effectively brand themselves when reaching out to new people.  Networking is sharing your achievements and interests to individuals who have the same goals. This in return will help you measure or broaden your career options while developing and maintaining new connections.

To be successful when networking to new people, always remember to have an online strategy. My tried and tested request formula, which I will be sharing, will help you better connect with new prospects to potentially further your business.

Let’s start with step 1. We all know that to have a positive relationship with anyone, establishing mutual trust is a must. It is also important to give people we’ve just met a warm and welcoming vibe for them to be able open up more and in return, trust us more.

In every conversation, one must need to set the proper tone to convey the right message. This rule also applies to messages being sent on social media platforms. Make sure that your message is detailed, professional and concise to let the recipient know that you mean business.

Remember that saying “It only takes seconds to make a first impression”? Think about how you want to be approached and keep that in mind when sending messages.

Below are a few suggestions to help you start a new conversation. Personalize it for a creative touch or to suit the message recipient. Keep in mind the reason why you’re sending the person a message and start from there.

1- Send Personal Messages the Right Way

After sorting your potential leads, send them concise and personalized messages. One of the best ways to break the ice when meeting someone new is to connect with them on as many personal levels as possible. Check which Groups (on LinkedIn) or Hives (on beBee) are they part of. Knowing the kinds of posts they share are also good conversations starters. Start with a personal message like the one below:

Good day, James.

I noticed that we are both members of the Entrepreneurs Hive on BeBee. I also saw that you just started a new business venture. Hope everything is going smoothly so far?

I’m very impressed with the way you brand yourself and how you’re implementing your marketing strategy. I believe that there are many ways for us to help each other and find common business grounds. Are you available to chat? I’m looking forward to speaking to you soon.

A personalized message message like this will surely give you a better chance at future opportunities.

Best Regards,

Your name

2- Someone You Casually Know in Your Inner Circle

Since you already casually know the person, starting a friendly tone would be easier. Make sure to mention your common friend to get the conversation started.

Hi Andrew,

It’s great that Gilbert introduced us to one another. I’m interested to know more about the project you’re handling. Are you available to meet for coffee soon?

You may have seen some of the many different ways that people are using LinkedIn to get business. I have prepared a workshop booklet in Arabic language where I guide you and show you how to do the same thing for you and how to use it effectively to expand your market and get more leads..

3- Someone You Just Met at a Networking Mixer

I usually try to add people immediately on LinkedIn or BeBee after meeting them first in a networking event. But if you’re too shy to do so, you can send this brief message and remind them how and where you have gotten acquainted.

Inviting them out for coffee would also be a great idea where you can discuss more details about each other’s job, new contacts or inform each other about the latest market trends, online business ideas or the best brands in your field of business. The possibilities are virtually unlimited!

Dear Margaret,

Meeting you last month at the local business mixer in San Francisco was one of the highlights of that night for me. The way you discuss the work you do for various companies was so motivating. I surely would love to stay updated on your career. I hope we could meet again in the near future.

4- To Someone You Admire Professionally

This is one of the times that sending messages can be quite tricky. If you are sending a message to a public figure or well-known leader, start by introducing yourself and indicate the reason for your connection request. By doing this, you can let them know that you are not adding them for the sake of just doing so. To keep things professionals, you can comment on their latest work or achievement.

Further explain the reason for reaching out

If you have suggestions that can potentially help or support their project, you can share with them these ideas and explain how they can benefit from it.  Do not at anytime or during the conversation ask for a job. Doing this, will immediately eliminate your chances of growing a relationship with them.

Dear Dr. Philippe Herman,

I’m an entrepreneur and co-founder of Ghyratu Company. For the last year, I’ve been following your work for Eventual, and it really inspired me. I particularly loved your campaign in The New York times—It was effective and it left a significant impact on many entrepreneurs I know in the field. If you ever have 30 minutes or so, I’d love to hear more about your success story and what skills you believe are most relevant to your Research department.

Thank you so much,

Elena Gharios

Dear Mr. Smith

I am one of those employees who attended the engineering conference in Florida last June. The speech you gave about “Work Life Balance” inspired me to be more effective in my role as VP for Corporate Communications in your company. I’m sending a connection request here in LinkedIn to be always updated on your latest projects and business endeavors. I hope to be able meet you personally next time.

Best Regards,

5- Connecting with Someone from the Same Business Group (LinkedIn Group or BeBee Hive)

Usually, people who are at the same groups or hives share the same interest. You will have big chance to be accepted on their social network.

You can start a message like this:

Dear Chris,

I saw the posts you’ve shared on Facebook and I was fascinated with your unique insights regarding various topics. A lot of your ideas have made an impact on me. It seems that we have the same mindset about these topics and I would love to learn more about your work and if in the future we can collaborate on a potential project.

Best Regards,

Your name

6- Getting in Touch with a Recruiter the Right Way

Imagine receiving 100 job requests per day from LinkedIn or social networking apps. Will you be interested to connect with people who only want a job from you?

In general, individuals can contact recruiters 2-3 months before starting to search for a new job. Share with them an article that might peak their interest.  Building a good relationship and getting to know them better before actually asking about hiring in their department will be a good start and would give you higher chances of getting hired.

Here is a good example of a brief message to a recruiter:

Dear Samantha Kennedy,

I found your profile on Women Council Group. I recently read an article about women in business challenges and I thought to share the link with you, so you can have an idea about this topic as well.  I’d also be happy to connect you with other professionals in my field.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon,

Best Regards,

Your name

7- Reaching out to Work with Someone in Your Field

Are you looking for someone qualified that works in the same field you are in?

When reaching out to these kinds of contacts, the key is to make sure that they know what kind of relationship you’re seeking. Most of the time, people accept such offers and contact requests.

Here’s a fitting example:

Dear Amanda,

I am a business owner and I can’t help but be impressed with the work you’ve done for Zuellig. The way you made an unknown brand name into a globally recognized company is nothing short but amazing. I would like to know more about your career goals and accomplishments. I hope you will consider connecting and potentially starting a project with me.

I look forward to the possibility of working with you,

Best Regards,

Your name

8- Connecting with Business Owners or Professionals Who Liked Your Post on LinkedIn or BeBee

This is the most ideal way to start knowing new people for potential business opportunities.

A message like this would sure grab that person’s attention:

Dear Bill,

I’m a fellow member of Sales Managers Group. I saw and appreciated your interactions on my post about How to Generate Leads. I hope we can connect and possibly speak about this topic further.

Best Regards,

Your name

9- If You’re Unsure How to Connect with a Potential Customer Because You’re Shy

Here’s one of the ways to start a conversation with a potential customer:

Dear Patrick,

As I was doing research on LinkedIn, your profile came up as the number 1 search result. The career you’ve had for the last decade is something to be envied. I would love to know about your thoughts about modern brand designs and personal branding techniques. I hope we can schedule something soon.

Best Regards,

Your name

The key to writing an eye-catching online invitation is to use the note to answer any questions that the recipient might have.

Addressing the 5W’s (who, what, when, where, why) is a clever way to start. With these, potentially building personal brand loyalty or personal brand positioning will be so much easier.

Lastly, always make sure to admire their work in the first sentence and be polite and professional.

A Special Plan For Linkedin

In this video, we will show you how to increase your brand awareness on LinkedIn by building an online presence and sharing content with your target audience. (Arabic language).

SOCIAL-PRESENCE-

The first question that you should ask yourself – What type of influencer you want to be?

The answer to that question will help you decide on the kind of Instagram influencer you want to be, as well as your target audience and how you are going to engage with them.

For example, if you want to become an actor, then you’ll likely focus on acting and not necessarily on social media, while if you want to become a fashion blogger, then you’ll likely focus on the fashion industry and not necessarily on social media. So before you make a decision on which path to take, the first thing you need to do is determine your niche for a specific audience:

If you want to focus on a particular audience, then the best way to do that is to start following them first and then work your way up to your main audience. For example, if you want to become a fitness influencer, then you can start by following other people who are in that niche. It’s also helpful if you know a few people from that niche already so that you have a support network.

However, you might be surprised to find that they aren’t interested in your content, or perhaps they don’t have the time to follow you. This is why it’s important to also follow their followers and see what type of content they are posting. In the end, you’ll discover the type of content that resonates with your audience. Then you can use those results to determine how you are going to interact with your target audience.

Thus, your next question should be: Do I want to become an Instagram influencer or am I just a social media marketer? If you just want to become a social media marketer, then it’s likely you’re more interested in following trends and trends alone. However, if you want to become an influencer, then you’ll need to focus on the niche and build your audience as well. Either way, remember that you should never be afraid of starting small. You don’t have to start by following 10,000 people and posting videos of yourself and your friends. Start small and work your way up. You will see results and grow over time.

If you’re looking for a place to start, then try to find a topic that you’re interested in and passionate about. That’s what will bring you joy. It’s also important to do some research. Find out what other people are doing in that area and then make sure to include them in your content. After all, the goal is to be authentic and unique. If you don’t know much about the niche, then it’s okay to ask questions and seek advice from those who do. Remember, it’s not about who you follow or how many followers you have, it’s about what type of content they post and whether or not you resonate with their audience.

HOW TO SPECIFY YOUR GOALS ON INSTAGRAM?

Step N. 1:

What are your interests on regular basis? Prepare your plan and ask yourself these questions:

  1. Where do I want my mind to wander? Your mind wanders when you’re thinking about something that’s not related to what you’re doing right now.
  1. What do I really care about in life? at work? in my career?
  1. How do I enjoy spending my time? What are the best hobbies that make me feel happy and joyful.
  1. What are the most important topics that I’m interested to know about when I search for things to read on Google.
  1. What does my email inbox look like?
(Who do I subscribe to via email?)
  1. What does my Instagram feed look like?
    (Who do I follow?)

YOUR ACTION:

Use the answers to those questions to help you understand your true interests and talents.

Step N. 2:

What questions do people ask you in real life? What questions do people ask you on social media? What questions do you wish you knew the answer to?

Keep this in mind: How do you want to be perceived on Instagram? Do you want to be perceived as an influencer, an authority, a teacher, a friend or a mentor?

If there’s a topic that people always ask you for advice on, it’s probably something you’re naturally good at, or something you’re passionate about. It’s no surprise that you’ve become so well-known for the quality of your advice.

YOUR ACTION:

Make a list of topics people ask you about. Write down everything you can think of that people ask you about. Then pick out the topics that you get asked about most. That will be the ones you should start by creating content about.

Step N. 3:

Get rid of the things you dislike and then you’ll be able to move on and eliminate what you know you don’t like.

Now that you have narrowed down your interests, it’s time to get to work. The first thing you need to do is to get some basic skills. If you want to pursue a career in ________, then you’ll need to learn more about the industry, its various aspects, and its history. This might mean reading some books, watching documentaries, or attending classes. But no matter what path you decide to take, the important thing to remember is that the best way to learn something is by doing it.

If you don’t know what to do next, try asking a friend for advice. They’re likely to have done something similar, so they’ll be able to give you some good advice about what you should be doing next.

YOUR ACTION:

From your list of potential interests, cross out any that you know you won’t want to pursue. You can save some time if you just eliminate a few at a time as you are checking off boxes on your interest list. Just take a quick glance at the remaining items and make sure they are something that you really want to explore.

Step N. 4:

Define your audience.

Niche marketing is a popular strategy for growing your social media audience, but it is not without its downsides. First, you need to narrow down the focus of your marketing. You will want to try and identify who you are targeting and what their concerns are. When it comes to building your own social media following, you want to focus on two things – engaging content and staying true to yourself.

Engaging content refers to the kind of posts that people love to share, which should be things that interest you as well as people that resonate with you. When it comes to niche marketing, content doesn’t always have to be about your business. You can create great content around something fun or interesting like traveling, movies, or anything else that really resonates with your followers. You can also choose to post about your business on a regular basis or occasionally, depending on how often you want to engage your audience.

You must stay true to yourself when it comes to niche marketing. If you try to mimic other influencers, people will quickly notice that you are just copycatting them and they will not follow you.

Niche marketing, also known as micro-niche marketing or targeted marketing, is a type of advertising in which you target specific groups of people who have particular characteristics or preferences. A niche market is a market segment that shares some common characteristics. These characteristics can include demographics, income levels, interests, or any other attribute that you identify.

YOUR ACTION:

Focusing your efforts on a specific topic will make it easier for you to stand out in a crowd. Not only will you be able to draw attention to yourself because you are “one of the few people who know about this”, but you will also be able to build a following and develop an audience. This is very helpful because having an audience means you are much more likely to generate income from affiliate marketing.

There’s something for everyone on the Internet. With over 2 billion websites available at the click of a button, you’ll never find yourself without a place to find information or a person to talk to. But the truth is, not everyone is a potential audience for you. If you have a particular audience that you want to reach, it will be much easier to attract people who will like what you have to say and engage with what you are doing.

Step N. 5:

Your WHY reveals your BACKSTORY

Your backstory is simply who you are. It’s all about establishing a human connection with your audience. It’s about who you are, how you act and what you stand for. The more you can get into the mindset of your potential customers, the more easily you’ll be able to communicate and connect with them. For example, if you’re selling a high-end car, don’t just talk about the technical specs. Tell them about the unique features of the vehicle that makes it a great car to own. If you’re promoting a weight loss product, you should tell your audience that you understand how much stress they’re under because of their weight. Whatever it is you’re selling, you need to share the backstory with your audience. This helps them understand what they’re going to get from you.

YOUR ACTION:

Remember that the most compelling stories aren’t just events.

Some tips on creating your backstory:

Think back to when you first started learning about your topic. Most likely there were some struggles along your journey. Describe them to your audience in your backstory. If at any point along your path to becoming an influencer you made any big discoveries or had any important insights, you should share them. Then describe what life is like now. I think it goes without saying, but please don’t make stuff up. You really don’t need to. Even if you think your story is boring or uneventful, don’t be afraid to just be honest and tell it like it is. That’s what will form a personal connection between you and your audience.

Step N. 6:

Content Creation and Engagement Tips

Content creation can be a time-consuming process, but it’s also an important task for your online business. As your audience grows, so does your content production.

“DOCUMENT DON’T CREATE.” – GARY VAYNERCHUK

Here’s how Gary explains it: ‘Documenting’ versus ‘creating’ is what The Real World and the Kardashians is to Star Wars and Friends. And don’t get confused—just because you’re ‘documenting’ doesn’t mean you’re not creating content. It’s just a version of creating that is predicated more on practicality instead of having to think of stories or fantasy—something that’s very hard for most people.”

Say NO to the over-edited, over-filtered, and over-perfect content. If you’re just starting out, pick up your phone and start taking photos and creating short videos about the things that are most important to you. In other words, document your life.

YOUR ACTION

An influencer is someone who has built a large online following due to the way they interact with their audience. It doesn’t matter if you have 100,000 Instagram followers or 10,000 Twitter followers – as long as you are consistently interacting with your audience and delivering value, you can become an influencer.

The reason why influencers are so successful is that they are constantly providing their audience with new, interesting, and useful information. They have figured out how to make themselves an essential part of their followers’ daily lives. By consistently posting quality content and interacting with their followers, influencers can quickly turn their followers into fans and customers.

Position yourself as a celebrity/Expert influencer, and show them what you’ve got and teach them how you did it! Take your audience on the ride with you.

Conclusion:

An influencer is someone who has built a large online following due to the way they interact with their audience. How To Understand The Twitter Algorithm And Change It To Increase Your Reach?

Back in March of 2015, Twitter made a change which many of their users didn’t like. Twitter decided to stop showing the most recent Tweets at the top of your feed, and instead, started to order all your feeds based on when people were active on the service. This meant that people with active accounts would see more activity from people who are online now, than they would from people who were online earlier in the day. It also meant that people who were active on the site a long time ago would once again see more recent Tweets, than they would older Tweets.

Twitter has been a great source of traffic and leads for many of my clients over the years. However, it can also be a bit of a nightmare if you aren’t careful. Especially when it comes to managing your Twitter feed. In this post, I’m going to cover six ways you can make sure your tweets get seen by as many people as possible… and stay seen by them for as long as possible. These tips are based on some very hard-earned first-hand experience from both me and my clients.

The Algorithm That Changes Every Day And Makes Tweets More or Less Important To You.

Imagine Tweets in 3 main sections:

  1. The first section (RANKED TWEETS) shows the 20 most recent tweets displayed in rank order from most recent to least recent. section is for those tweets that you want to catch your readers’ attention but don’t quite have the clout to make the first cut.
  1. The second section (“IN CASE YOU MISSED IT”) shows tweets that have been mentioned most often in the last 24 hours. This section is for those tweets that you want to catch your readers’ attention but don’t quite have the clout to make the first cut.
  1. The third section (THE REMAINING TWEETS IN REVERSE-CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER) displays the rest of the tweets that are not included in either of the two previous sections. Here are all the tweets that didn’t make it onto your timeline because they weren’t important enough. They are listed in reverse-chronological order.

The algorithm will study all of the tweets from accounts you follow and give each of them a “relevance” score based on several factors. Here’s a short list of what Twitter says the algorithm weighs most heavily:

Newsworthiness: How recent is the tweet? Is it from someone you know or follow, or from a source that isn’t as familiar to you?

Influence: How many followers does the account have? Who are those followers? Are they more likely to be people who are more likely to be interested in your topic or subject matter?

Re-tweet: Did the author of the tweet retweet another user’s tweet about the same subject or not? If so, that’s a sign the first tweeter/author probably agreed with the second tweeter/author.

Find your right audience, if you want to increase your engagement.

The Algorithm Will Study All The Tweets From Accounts You Follow And Give Each Of Them A Relevance Score Based On Several Factors! Here Are Some Of The Factors The Algorithm Uses To Calculate These Scores!

Here are some of the factors which will affect how relevant your tweets are:

  1. Retweets: Lots of people retweet others all the time for a number of reasons. Some do it because they agree with what they’re reading. Others do it to get the message out to a wider audience. And, of course, sometimes people just do it as a joke. Whatever the reason, if someone retweets your tweet, it will definitely boost your relevance score.
  1. Followers: The more people you follow, the higher your relevance score. If you unfollow a lot of people, your score will go down.
  1. Tweet Frequency: The more often you tweet, the higher your relevance score.
  1. Interacting With Others: Interacting with others in real time through retweets, replies, likes, and favorites all have a positive impact on your relevance score.
  1. Time of Day: Engaging with others at certain times of day has a positive impact on your relevance score. For example, between 6 a.m.

The algorithm will now also consider the content of your Tweets, and give it a relevance score. This means if you are tweeting about something interesting, your Tweet will be more relevant to your followers and more likely to be seen.

Then, Twitter will think about what you might want to read and suggest it to you in the first two sections — ranked tweets and “In case you missed it”.

The idea is to give you a quick glimpse of the best Tweets, and then allow you to delve deeper into the other ones.

Let’s go into details..

Ranked Tweets

At the top of your timeline is a section called “Top Tweets.” It displays only the most recent tweets in your timeline, which are deemed to be the most important by Twitter. These tweets are displayed in chronological order, but are not necessarily the most important tweets in reverse-chronological order.

From my own personal experience, they probably aren’t.

Twitter has a function called “Trending Topics”. As far as I know, they don’t reveal their formula for determining what is trending, but it is safe to say they use a combination of what people are tweeting about, what people are re-tweeting, what people are mentioning, and so forth.

Based on the photo above, it looks like these are the tweets most likely to interest me. Twitter took the liberty to put them at the top of my timeline. They did this because they know I’m most likely to be interested in what others are saying about what they are interested in.

“In Case You Missed It” – On your Timeline

This module only appears when you’ve been away from Twitter for several hours or days. It’s a way for Twitter to make sure you are still interested in what’s happening on their site and gives you a quick glance at some of the recent things you might have missed.

This is where the magic happens. Here are the most relevant tweets according to Twitter’s relevance algorithm. These are the tweets that Twitter thinks you will most likely respond to and be interested in. The tweets are not ordered reverse-chronologically.

Remaining tweet

You’ll discover retweets, promoted tweets, and suggested accounts to follow. You should check out all these retweets, promoted tweets, and suggested accounts to follow. Sometimes they’re tweets you won’t want to follow because they are not relevant or interesting to you. But other times they will be relevant or interesting to you, in which case you should follow them.

Retweets are when someone republishes the message of another person. Usually, it is someone they know and trust. Promoted tweets are similar to retweets except that the original tweet has been paid for by the advertiser. If you see a lot of retweets, odds are high that at least a few of them are from people you know and trust. And if you see a lot of promoted tweets, the same thing is probably true. However, just because someone is retweeting or promoting something doesn’t mean they necessarily agree with it. It just means that they found it relevant and interesting.

Suggested accounts to follow are accounts that Twitter thinks you might be interested in following. These are often people who have something to say that is relevant and interesting and might help you stay on top of the topics you are interested in. Sometimes, these are accounts that have a lot to say but whose messages you won’t find particularly relevant or interesting. These are often accounts that just like or dislike something or someone without any real reason. Just remember that these are only suggestions; you are not obligated to follow them.

HOW TO INCREASE YOUR REACH ON TWITTER?

It doesn’t matter if you have a low number of followers!

In this section, we’re going to look at how you can use a few simple techniques to make sure your Tweets get seen by more people. These techniques are especially important now that Twitter has rolled out their new “timeline algorithm.” As we all know, the timeline algorithm is the secret sauce that determines which of your Tweets get seen first by other users. Here are five simple techniques you can use to help your Tweets get seen by more people:

  1. Have a clear call-to-action in each Tweet. People read from top to bottom on a web page. And, they read from left to right on a web page. Put your CTA (call-to-action) in the first sentence or two of your Tweet and make it as compelling as possible. For example, if your Tweet instructs people to click a link and buy something, write something like this: “Click here to get a free copy ”.
  1. Use hashtags strategically. Don’t overdo it, but do use them strategically. If you use too many hashtags, your Tweet won’t be read at all. But if you use the right ones, you can greatly increase the chance that your Tweet will be read. The way you use them is by using the right ones in the right places. For example, if you are selling an eBook, you might use the following hashtags: #ebooks, #eBooks, #freebooks, #book, #reading, etc.
  1. Include an image. People love to look at pictures, and including one in your Tweet makes it more likely to be read. Make sure the picture you choose is relevant to your Tweet and includes all of the important elements. If you’re trying to sell something, make sure the picture you use depicts what you are trying to sell and isn’t just some pretty face with a stupid smile.
  1. Be succinct. People are busy. They don’t have time to read long-winded, boring messages. So, if possible, make each of your Tweets as short as possible. But, don’t worry too much about being clever. Choose the right words that are most likely to get your message across. Don’t use “salesmanship” instead of clarity.
  1. Monitor your performance. Keep track of how many people click on the links you post in your Tweets. And, keep an eye out for other indicators such as impressions (how many times your Tweet was seen by other users), retweets (how many people have copied and pasted your Tweet into their own), favorites (how many people like your Tweet enough to mark it as “favorited”), and replies (how many people discuss your Tweet with you).

So how do you increase your Twitter reach with the new timeline algorithm? The answer is simple: You do more than just post tweets. You see, with the new timeline algorithm, the first thing that happens when you post a new tweet is that it gets pushed down into the “Past” section of your followers’ feeds. The goal is that your tweets will be seen, but not over-shadowed by newer tweets. Therefore, one of the most important things that you can do is to interact with your followers. Interacting with your followers means a number of things:

* Responding to their tweets

* Retweeting their tweets

* Giving them “likes”

* Giving them “follows”

* And much, much more …

The way that the algorithm works is that it looks at how often you interact with your followers and determines how important you are to them. If you are very important to them, your older tweets will not get pushed down as much as the tweets of people who are less important to them.

My tips to you!

Here are a few tips to help you get a head start on increasing your Twitter reach:

Tip #1: Get to know your followers. Who are the people who are most likely to be interested in what you have to say? Are they the ones who re-tweet (share) your Tweets? If so, pay attention to them – they may be good leads! Are they the ones who reply to your Tweets? If so, reply to them too! Do they like your Tweets? Do they retweet them and/or reply to them? If so, you’ve found yourself a potential lead!

Tip #2: Create a list of lists. On Twitter you can create as many lists as you want, and assign those lists to different categories or groups. For example, you might have one list for people who live in Middle East or a specific country, another for people who live in USA, another for people who follow you personally, and so on. This will help you to discover new people or accounts to follow who might be good leads for your next marketing campaign.

Tip #3: Use hashtags. When you post a Tweet, you have the option of including hashtags. A hashtag is a word or a few words preceded by a pound sign (#). Hashtags are used to categorize and search for Tweets. For example, if you are selling real estate, you might use the hashtag #realestate to indicate that you are talking about that subject. If you are having a Twitter chat related to marketing, you could use the hashtag #marketingchat. You can also use hashtags to find other people who are interested in the same things you are. To find out what people are interested in, you can type a hashtag into the search box at the top of your Twitter page. The results will be people who use that hashtag. You can then follow those people and see what they are interested in.

Tip #4: Be interesting! Don’t try to sell everybody on everything. Instead, concentrate on selling one or two things to one or two groups of people. If you do this well, your Tweets will spread like wildfire.

Tips #5: The new timeline algorithm makes it possible for you to easily identify the most influential users on Twitter. You can then use these users as “seeds” to re-tweet your most important messages. In this way, you can maximize the reach of your tweets without having to worry about running out of tweets to send out.

Tips #6: Twitter algorithm will take posting times into account but it won’t be the only factor used to rank tweets. Some tweets will always be more highly ranked than others for reasons unrelated to the posting time. For example, some tweets may be more useful or interesting than other tweets. Also, there are a few variables that are difficult if not impossible to control. For example, how many people are following you; how many people are reading your tweets; what time of day you post; whether you are posting in your local time zone or someone else’s; whether you are posting on a weekday or weekend; and so forth. All of these variables will affect your ranking but the algorithm will take them into account. However, controlling for these variables is much more difficult and often impossible. This is why it is important to keep testing. Posting times can sometimes increase your engagement by 50% or more. But, more often than not, posting times will have no effect at all. It all depends on the data you are using. If you are just starting out and don’t have many followers, then posting times probably won’t make much difference in your rankings. On the other hand, if you already have thousands of followers and you post several times a day anyway, then maybe you should experiment with posting times.

Tips #7: Engage with others frequently, to increase your Tweets impressions as well. Engagement is measured by the number of times your Tweet was clicked on (clicks), minus the number of times it was viewed (impressions). A high level of engagement means that your Tweet was interesting to a lot of people, but that they didn’t actually read it.

Tips #8: Try Twitter videos: If you haven’t already, you should start using Twitter videos. They are very easy to create and share. And if the video has a strong story behind it, it can be an effective way to gain attention and get people interested in what you have to say. Videos have an important role to play on Twitter. According to a study by HubSpot, videos on a brand’s Twitter page get 42% more retweets than text posts. Also, videos are 4 times more likely to result in a purchase than text posts. The reason for this is simple. People like to share things that are interesting or amusing. And sharing something that is interesting or amusing increases the chances that your message will be passed along and that your followers will pay attention to it.

Tips #9: Reply to mentions. It is a way to get people to respond to your tweets. Basically, all you do is mention another person in your tweet (by including his or her username), and then you ask that person if he or she would like to chat with you about something. If the person does want to chat with you, he or she will send you an @reply message which you can then reply to with a message of your own. You can also use reply to mention to let people know they have been mentioned in your tweet. This will give them the option of replying “thanks” or “that’s me” or something else. The idea is to get people to interact with your tweets. It is a useful technique for getting more people to read your tweets and for increasing your retweets.

Tips #10: Promote your tweets.  If you use Twitter, you should definitely know about the “Promote Your Tweets” feature. With this feature, you can tell Twitter which of your tweets are most interesting to other people and therefore get more attention. The idea is that if a person is reading through his or her Twitter stream and comes across one of your tweets that is particularly interesting, he or she will click on the Promote button to send your tweet to his or her followers. This increases the likelihood that your tweet will be seen by more people and get more engagement.

Here are some sales tips.

One of the primary ways that people use social media is to get information. In fact, according to a study by the Pew Research Center, 88% of social media users get their news from these sites. And the same study found that 73% of social media users turn to their social networks for advice on “things to buy”. As a marketer, this is an enormous opportunity to reach a huge audience with a message that is relevant to them. If you have a product or service that is of interest to this audience, you should consider using social media to promote your tweets. This will cause your tweets to be “shared” on the various social networks and increase the number of people who see them. This, in turn, will cause more people to read your tweets and, hopefully, to become interested in what you are selling and to purchase it from you.

One of the things I like best about Twitter is that you get to know people on a very personal basis. Some people you will never meet again. But with Twitter, you get a second chance to connect with almost everyone you follow.

I have met many people through Twitter who I would not have known otherwise. And sometimes, when someone is having a bad day, it is good to be able to reach out and offer a bit of cheer.

I’ve had some pretty amazing conversations on Twitter. Sometimes it starts off as a simple question, “What do you think about…?” and before you know it, you’re talking about life, the universe, and everything.

I’m sure you can think of many other ways to use Twitter to expand your horizons and increase your knowledge. So go ahead. Try one or more of these ideas out and see how they work for you. I promise – you won’t be disappointed.

Are you struggling to find new and innovative ways to promote your brand on Facebook?

Facebook’s algorithm changes almost every single month. So does your competition. To stay one step ahead of the game, you need to constantly be on top of the latest changes in your market and adjust your strategy accordingly. This is easier said than done, right?
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve received requests from people saying they’re “hoping Facebook changes soon.” Facebook is not going to change. It’s never going to stop being the world’s largest social network. Therefore, the strategies you use to market on this network are going to have to change and evolve along with it.

One of the best ways to keep up to date with what’s new is to pay attention to what’s trending.
So what are the latest trends you should be focusing on? It’s a very short list… but… it is a list nonetheless. Check out these top ten trends to keep in mind as you create and execute your brand’s 2022 Facebook marketing strategy.

1- Facebook Shopping

Facebook is now an official part of most people’s daily lives, whether they realize it or not. It is an integral part of our culture.
The ability to sell products on Facebook is NOT a major trend… It IS the future of e-commerce.
The next time you hear someone say something like “I hate Facebook” or “Facebook is dead to me,” you will know exactly what they are so upset about. In a few short years, Facebook has grown from a simple ‘poke’ and ‘poke back’ way of connecting with friends to a multi-billion dollar global marketing engine that reaches billions of people every day.

This has become one of my favorite things to teach people who don’t know much about marketing. It’s so simple yet so effective. And there are so many benefits and advantages to your online business! Here are just a few:

1. You only pay when someone buys something. No matter how they come to your listing. Whether they found you on Facebook, through an ad you ran, or through a referral.

2. You get to control when they pay. Usually with Facebook Pay, a customer can checkout with PayPal and receive an email receipt, or even have their purchase ready for immediate payment through their bank account.

3. Facebook shows an ‘order confirmation’ message to all of their Page fans when a sale is completed – just like they do when someone visits their website.

4. You can send them an email or text message with details about their order, and even include an image of their receipt – just like you would if they visited your website.

5. And finally, you can even run repeat sales with Facebook – via retargeting advertising.

* Smart steps to use Facebook shopping:

1. Share photos of your products and be sure to tag each one so your audience can easily identify it and buy it.

2. Collections help your customers easily find what they are looking for. It’s a good idea to create separate collections for commonly bought items, brand new products, items that have been heavily discounted, and for “everything else”. Collections make it easy for your customers to browse your products.

3. To enhance the customer experience, allow customers to buy whatever they are looking at while on your Facebook Shopping page. This is called “in-app checkout” and it allows customers to make purchases without ever having to leave your Facebook Shop.

2 – User Generated Content (UGC)

UGC is the lifeblood of any successful marketing campaign. It provides organic and authentic content that your audience craves. Use it often in your ads and posts and don’t be afraid to ask your audience to share their UGC with you. People love to share what they do or know.

* Smart ideas to use UGC and socialize your brand:

1. Ask to share the post on your profiles. This will also allow you to get to know people. It’s a start to build long-term relationships. And when you share their content, don’t forget to TAG them.

2. If you have a “thing” for statistics, create a hashtag for your customers to use when they take a picture of one of your products. And here is the smart idea! check out how often your customers are using that hashtag. Are they using it a lot? Not at all? Is it something you can use to determine what types of products your customers want to see more of?

3. One of the best ways to increase sales is to link back to the product(s) featured in the photos. Here’s a great example of a link that includes the name of the product (in this case, it’s a great skin care product), the name of the merchant who sells it, the name of the brand, the name of the author of the book, the name of the movie star who’s in the ad, etc.

Instagram Influencer Content has the same of level of trust and authority UGC has! Here is the revealed secret guide on all you need to know about becoming and Instagram Influencer with special tips for 2022!

3 – Longform posts

One recent “trend” I’ve noticed is that people are becoming more and more hungry for long-form, high-quality content. They no longer care about “short attention span” or “fluff pieces.” No, what they want now is substance. So, if you can deliver that, then you should absolutely be creating more long-form material. It will pay off big time.
You should pay attention to long-form posts on Facebook. Targeting is getting more and more specific. What was once a broad targeting option is now becoming a laser-like precision. We’re finding out that a really long Facebook ad copy actually performs better. It gives your audience more info before they click, possibly leading to a higher likelihood of a conversion.

I’ll give you an example of a Longform Facebook posts that you can promote and increase conversion rate.

* Smart and creative ways to use a long-form caption:

1. Use smiley faces as placeholders for important information.

2. Asking your clients for testimonials is always a good idea.

3. and the most important is to give your readers the entire story. Tell them everything they need to know in order for them to make an informed decision about buying your product. Give them the complete picture. Everything that would interest them… so they’ll be interested in you. Make your offer as complete as possible.

4- Chatbots

Another important trend that will be a “must-have” for any marketing/social media strategist in 2022 is having a Facebook Messenger bot to answer frequently asked questions and provide more product information. Several software are available to help build these bots as a part of your Facebook strategy. What you will be doing is creating a very human-like conversation between your customers and your business, thus increasing your sales. Many online softwares are available to help you create these chatbots as part of your Facebook strategy. You might simply need some technical help when integrating the software to your Facebook page.

* Smart ideas to use chatbots:

1. A 24/7 customer service outlet is critical for any business, but especially for an online business. It gives your customers immediate access to you, and also provides them with an easy avenue to contact you if they have a question or concern. This will give you the opportunity to make sure you are there to answer their questions and concerns, even if you are otherwise preoccupied with your own activities.

2. Create Facebook Messenger-based apps that teach your subscribers about other things besides your products. They can ask for advice from you or your expert guests, or just get a quick “motivational nugget”.

3. Create a chatbot that interacts with people using natural language processing. at the end of the end, you are using chatbot software to promote your products and increase your sales.

And here comes the dearest thing to my heart…

5 – Facebook Stories:

Facebook has become a much more important marketing tool for many businesses. With this in mind, it’s important for every business owner to understand how to use this powerful social media platform to the fullest. Facebook stories are quickly becoming as popular as Instagram stories. This is especially true because you can easily share your stories on both Facebook and Instagram. You’ve probably seen some of those “Facebook Story” posts floating around your news feed. These are very useful if you’re trying to get a message across to someone or a group of people. Cross-posting a story to both Facebook and Instagram makes sense because then, people get your message on all their available channels.

personal-branding-

Brands are not only limited to companies and corporations. People can have brands too! Your personal brand can be thought of as the opinions and perceptions the public has of you. These perceptions can be shaped and, if done right, used to your professional advantage. Today, we can’t speak of brand building without mentioning the important role that social media plays. Platforms like Instagram and Facebook allow a person to directly address an audience, giving them more control over their image. Still, navigating a personal brand online can be tricky, as it is more than just choosing the right photo or being active on social platforms. So, before you take another step, here are a few things you should know about personal branding on social media.

  1. Think about your brand

The first step is to consider what kind of image you want to project to the public. How do you want people to see you? What do you want them to know you for? Develop a vision, set out goals, and identify your audience. When building your brand, make sure to build on existing strengths and talents. Figure out what impact you want to create and the unique value of your contribution.

  1. Choose the right platform(s)

It’s wise to focus your attention on one or two social media platforms that align with your brand. This comes after you’ve done the work of developing your brand vision and target audience. The right platform depends on what you have to say and who you have to say it to. Other factors that go into choosing a platform include the kind of content you want to share. For example, if your content will be more image based, then Instagram might be a good option for you. However, if you remain unsure what platform to choose, you can always check what other people with brands similar to yours are doing for inspiration.

  1. Make yourself recognizable

Across platforms, you should have the same recognizable elements that tell people it’s you. These elements include profile picture, cover photo, color schemes, post templates, fonts, handle, and anything else that can act as a cue. Focusing on these elements is an important part of brand building, as it makes it easier for you to stand out from others.

  1. Be consistent on social media

It’s important to remain consistently active on social media. Being active once a month on Instagram or Facebook isn’t going to get you enough attention. Aim to be active three or four times a week, if possible. That said, quantity should be met with quality. So, make sure that the content you put out there is something your audience will find useful, connect to, and engage with. Note that being consistent doesn’t mean copy pasting content on different platforms. Recognizable elements aside, you should adapt aspects of your content to fit the intended platform.

  1. Be authentic with your audience

Audiences have a way of telling when someone is being fake and nothing could be more disengaging. When presenting yourself on social media, you want to be as true to yourself as possible. This doesn’t necessarily mean sharing information that you’d rather keep private. It instead means choosing to highlight an aspect of yourself that people will connect with. The point is to always aim for authenticity and base social media presence on truth.

In the last few years, social media has emerged as a powerful tool for personal branding. It’s made certain individuals more accessible to the public. However, one can’t approach social media without first making a few considerations. Coming to it unprepared can have consequences. That is why planning ahead is key and considering the nuances of social media—such as consistency and authenticity—is important.
